A couple of years ago my cousin came to visit me. When I moved to the US about 10 years ago he was a teenager, so this was our first opportunity to connect as adults.
I enjoyed our week together. He turned out to be a warm, open and easy-going young man, and I was grateful for the opportunity to spend time with him.
Around the same time I was recovering from a mild cold, and he suggested a simple salad to boost my immune system. His recipe was as incredible as it was simple, and I could feel my body respond well to it from the first bite.
