Yoga West, located in the Pico-Robertson, just South of Beverly Hills, teaches Kundalini yoga via the methods and wisdom of Yogi Bhajan. It is a sanctuary of bliss and unconditional love, and every visit elevates and fills one.
It is generally accepted that the late Yogi Bhajan of India was responsible for bringing Kundalini yoga to the West in 1969.
Prior to that, Kundalini yoga wisdom in India had been passed from teacher to student in an exclusive and secretive manner.
Since Yogi Bhajan left his physical body in 2004, his legacy is carried on by an extraordinary collection of teachers and a growing community of avid students.
Guru Singh, one of Yogi Bhajan’s first students in the West, travels and teaches all around the world. He brings his uplifting and inspiring teachings to LA on a regular basis, and you can usually see him in person on Monday and Thursday, around 7pm. It’s a privilege to be in his presence, and it’s recommended to get there early since his classes are always packed.
